4 eggs, separated
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup key lime juice
1 partially baked 8 inch pie shell or graham cracker crust
1/4 cup white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg yolks, and add the condensed milk. Slowly add the key lime juice and beat until the mixture resembles custard. Pour the filling into the pie shell. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the filling is firm. Allow to cool. Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding the sugar gradually while beating. Put this meringue on top of the pie. Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees and bake until peaks are golden brown on top. Serves 6-8.
