3 cups flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. cream of tatar
2 TB. cinnamon
1/4 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients into mixing bowl, cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk all at once and stir until dough follows fork around bowl. Turn onto floured board and knead gently 1/2 a minute (can add flour if dough is too sticky). Roll dough 1/4 inch thick. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and 2 TB cinnamon go all the way to the ends of the dough. Cut dough into 2 inch strips and pile strips 5 high on top of eachother. Cut into about 1 1/2 inch pieces and place in greased muffin tins cut side down. Bake @ 425º for 12 minutes.
