1 C. Shortening (part butter)
3/4 C. Brown Sugar
3/4 C. White Sugar
2 eggs beaten
2 TBL. hot water
2 3/4 C. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
chocolate chips
walnuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º . Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, water, vanilla and beat well. Add flour, soda and salt to mixture. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Bake for 10 minutes until light brown.
