2 Packages of Hawaiian Wheat Rolls- or the sweet ones if you prefer
1 1/2 TB. mustard
1 lb. shaved ham
1 1/2 TB. poppy seeds
1/2 lb. sliced swiss cheese
1/2 tsp. worchesteshire
Sauce:
2 TB. onion flakes
1/4 c. butter, melted

Directions:

Spray jelly roll pan with Pam. Cut open rolls and top with ham and cheese. Put on top half of rolls. Mix together sauce ingredients and pour over rolls. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350º

These are the ham buns that I made for our neighborhood Christmas party. My one neighbor (let's hope she had had a few drinks in her) came up to me and asked if ham buns were a Dutch thing because she was at a Dutch event and they also served ham buns, but they were cold. I said I had thought ham buns were an all American thing. She then proceeds to call her husband over and she says to him, " here try one of these, they are called ham buns." I had no idea that I had brought such a new concept into their lives!
