1# Round Steak--1/4" to 1/2" thick
1 Envelope onion soup mix
2 Tbsp. enriched flour
2/3 c. water
1 to 3 ounce can sliced mushrooms(2/3 cup broiled)
1 c. dairy sour cream
Buttered fine noodles or rice

Directions:
Trim fat from meat; reserve the fat. Cut meat diagonally across the grain in strips, 1/4 in. wide. (strips should be thin). Heat fat in skillet, with about 3 tbls. fat; remove trimmings then brown meat quickly. Add water & mushrooms including liquids; stir in soup mix; heat just to boiling. Blend in sour cream & flour; add. Cook and stir till mixture thickens--sauce will be thin. Serve over hot noodles.
