2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
nutmeg
8 slices of bread
Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs, salt and milk and about 1/4 tsp nutmeg.

Melt butter, dip slices of bread in mixture and fry in melted butter until golden on both sides. Serve with hot syrup.
