3 oz. pkg. Lemon Jello
1 1/2 c. Hot Water
2 c. Grapefruit pieces, cut up (I use canned)
1 c. Red Apples, unpeeled, chopped
1/2 c. Pecans, chopped
1/2 c. Sugar
Dash of Salt
May also use Crushed Pineapple

Directions:

Stir jello into hot water until dissolved. Cool. Add grapefruit, apples, pecans, sugar and salt. Pour into bowl, mold or glass cake dish. Refrigerate.

My mother made this salad often when I was young. She loved grapefruit and enjoyed this salad.
