Dough

3 cups Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1/2 pint sour cream (8 oz)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Filling

2 - 8 oz blocks of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg

Crumb topping

1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup flour

Dough
Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Alternate sifted dry ingredients with sour cream, ending with dry ingredients. Spread half of the batter in a greased 13x9x3 pan. Dough will be sticky.

Filling
Mix thoroughly. Spread over batter in pan. Drop remaining batter over the cheese mixture. The dough will spread evenly over the cheese while baking.

Crumb topping
Cut together with pastry tool (as for pie crust) or with two forks. Sprinkle on top of dough.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

You can use a 1/2 tsp of mace in the dough and another 1/2 tsp of mace in the crumb topping for a different flavor.
