1 C Butter
2 C Sugar
4 Eggs
1/2 C Butter milk 1 tsp. soda dissolve in it
3 1/2 C Flour
1 Box Chopped Dates
1 Can Coconut
2 C Chopped Nuts
1 Lb orange candy slices chopped
Icing:
1/2 C orange juice
1 1/2 C powder sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Pre Heat oven to 250º, Cream butter, sugar add eggs, flour and milk, add nuts and coconut, dates and candy. Bake for 2 1/2 hours in tube pan.

Icing:
heat ingredients and pour over cake as soon as taken from oven, let stand in pan over night.
