1 C. sugar
1/3 C. butter
1 C. bananas, mashed
2 pinches cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon
1/2 C. boiling water
1 tsp. baking soda
2 C. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first five ingredients. Add baking soda and flour. Bake in greased loaf pan at 375º for one hour.

Personal Notes:
I like to sprinkle a cinnamon-sugar mixture in the buttered baking pan before I add the batter. It makes a sweet topping for the bread.
