2 pounds stew meat
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup oil
28 oz. can imported Italian plum tomatoes in juice (undrained)
1 cup beef broth
1/4 teaspoon basil, rosemary, oregano and thyme
4 medium red potatoes cut into pieces
3 carrots cut into pieces
6 ounces mushrooms, halved
8 ounces fresh green beans, cut into 2 inch pieces
3 ribs celery, diced
dash of parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour with dash of salt and pepper. Coat meat, shaking off excess flour. Heat oil and brown beef. Stir in tomatoes, broth and herbs. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring 4 times. Add carrots, mushrooms, green beans, celery and potatoes. Cover and simmer 45 minutes longer until vegetables are tender. Sprinkle with parsley.
