2 egg whites
pinch of salt
2/3 c. sugar
1 cup mini chocolate chips of crushed candy canes
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Beat egg whites till stiff. Add sugar 1 tsp at a time, beat well. Add salt and vanilla, beat well. Fold in chips or candy (or both:). Drop by teaspoon on wax paper(grease both sides). Place cookies in oven and turn oven off. Leave in for 6 hours or overnight. DON'T PEEK!

These are such a special cookie that Grama used to always make at Christmas time, so good! And so Grama! You can also put a couple drops of food coloring (red or green) to make them more festive!
