Ham Quiche Recipe

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 egg yolk
3 Tbsp. water

1/2 lb. boiled ham, cut up
1/4 lb gated Swiss cheese
4 eggs
2 Tbsp.. flour
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp. salt
pepper to taste

3 Tbsp. melted butter

Sift flour and salt into a bowl. With pastry blender or fingers blend butter into flour. Stir in egg yolk and water. Form into a ball, and chill for 30 minutes. Knead pastry into a 9 inch pie dish. Add ham and cheese to pie shell. Combine all other ingredients except melted butter, and pour over ham and cheese. Drizzle melted butter over pie and bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
