1/2 lb. chopped chuck
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs (or crushed Ritz crackers)
1 small onion grated fine
1 1/2 c. water

Pie Crust
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
5 oz. soft butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 - 3 tbsp. milk

Directions:

Mix crumbs, onion and salt. Add raw meat, broken into small pieces, and water. Whisk with fork until soft and spongy. Set aside.

Pie Crust: Rub the butter into the flour and salt. Add milk to make a soft dough. Line a 9" pie pan with 1/2 the dough. Add meat mixture; cover with remainder of dough. Put slits in top crust. Bake at 375º until you see the meat cooking. Reduce heat to 325º for 50 minutes. Can be eaten warm or cold.
