3/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup Crisco
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts
1 12 oz. package chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 390º

Cream shortening and margarine. Add sugars & cream well.

Add eggs and vanilla.

Measure unsifted flour and sift with soda and salt.

Add to creamed mixture.

Add nuts & chocolate chips.

Refrigerate dough overnight.

Roll cookies into balls about the size of a walnut.

Bake for about 12 minutes.
