1 pkg. brownie mix
3 C powdered sugar
1/3 C butter or margarine (may use cream cheese), softened
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 T milk
2 squares unsweetened chocolate (1 oz. each)
2 tsp butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Bake brownies per package instructions, cool thoroughly on rack.

Mix powdered sugar, 1/3 C butter/oleo/cream cheese, vanilla & milk until creamy.
Spread mixture on cooled brownies.
Cool in refrigerator.

Melt unsweetened chocolate and 2 tsp butter/oleo.
Pour over iced brownies, spreading into thin layer.

Cool, cut and serve.

For holiday treats, add red or green food coloring to creamed mixture and substitute peppermint extract for vanilla.
