2 apples, peeled and sliced 1/2 inch thick
2-3 Tbs brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbs butter
2 Tbs water

Directions:
Directions:
Place sliced apples in a microwavable dish and sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar over the slices. Add water and butter. Cover and bring to a boil in microwave on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Once it boils, remove and stir apples. Cover and microwave again for 2-3 minutes or until tender.

For applesauce, double this recipe, double the water, and add more sugar to taste. Cook longer and mash after they become tender. Can be put in small containers and fozen for later use.
