1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. oil
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Mix milk, oil, sugar and vanilla together, add egg. Mix well. Add flour and baking powder, blend well. Stir in blueberries. Drop in muffin pans. Bake at 375º for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.

These bring back memories of sitting in my grandma, Marie McMullen's, kitchen and she just took blueberry muffins out of the oven. They smelled so good. They were warm and the butter just melted when you put it on the muffin. Then she would say "put some syrup on those". They tasted so good. Editor's note: This is very similar to Aunt Rita's and Aunt Millie's recipe. It may be a variation of Grandma's (their mother's) recipe.
