3/4 c. unsalted butter, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
2 c. flour
1 egg
2/3 c. apricot or rasberry jam

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and sugar in a bowl, cream till fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix. Add the flour and mix just till incorporated, dough will be soft. Roll 2 tsp. of dough between your hands into a 1-inch ball. Repeat, spacing 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. With a floured thumb (or dip thumb in water), make an indentation in the center of each ball of dough. Fill each indent with 1/2 tsp. jam. Bake @ 350º for about 10-12 minutes or till brown around the bottoms. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
