3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
dash of Cream of Tartar
1 cup pecans, chopped
23 Ritz Crackers, crushed
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. whipped topping (thawed) or pt. whipping cream (lightly sweetened)
Semi sweet chocolate, grated

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Whip egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar and baking powder. Beat until whites stand in peaks.
3. Fold in nuts, crackers and vanilla.
4. Spread into well-greased 9-inch pie plate. Bake 25-30 minutes.
5. When cool, cover with whipped topping or whipping cream. Grate chocolate over top.
6. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
