1 pound Ground Beef
1 Medium yellow Onion
4 large cloves Garlic
2 ½ tablespoons Chili powder
1 teaspoon each Salt & Ground Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Cumin
¼ to ½ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (to taste)
1 Can (15 oz) Pinto Beans
1 Can (14.5 oz) Beef Broth
1 Can (14.5 oz) Crushed Tomatoes or Stewed Tomatoes

1. Chop Onion into ½-inch pieces. Peel Garlic & chop very finely or crush.

2. Brown Ground Beef with Onion & Garlic in a 5-quart Dutch oven or large, deep skillet over Medium-High heat 5 to 6 minutes.

3. Add dry seasonings and stir to combine. Heat 1 minute.

4. Rinse & drain Pinto Beans. Stir beans, broth & tomatoes into Beef.

5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to Medium and simmer 15 minutes, uncovered.

Serve garnished with Shredded Cheddar Cheese or Deluxe American Cheese, Sour Cream and Tortilla Chips or Saltine Crackers, as desired.
