1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
2 slices bread, crusts trimmed
buttermilk
2 eggs
1 small onion, chopped fine
salt and pepper
parsley dried or fresh chopped
1 c. chili sauce
1 10 oz. jar grape jelly

Directions:
Directions:
Soak bread in buttermilk until soft. Mix together ground pork and beef; squeeze milk from bread, add to meat mixture with onion, eggs, salt and pepper to taste and chopped parsley. Mix together. Use about one tablespoon meat mixture for each meatball. Brown in hot oil in skillet over medium-high heat; turning to brown on all sides.
Blend together chili sauce and grape jelly in saucepan; heat over medium heat until jelly melts; add meatballs and cook over low heat until fully cooked; stir frequently to cover each meatball with glaze.

Makes about 24 meatballs.
