2 lg. potatoes cubed
1 c. onions
1 c. celery
3/4 t. sugar
1 t. salt
juice from 2 can clams (tuna size) Cook until tender (slowly)

Directions:
After vegetables are cooked
mix together 1 qt half and half or milk
2 cans clams (stir constantly)

White Sauce
Mix 3/4 c. melted butter 1/2 c. flour and mix into milk mixture. Add more milk if needed. Season to taste.
