beat 3 egg whites first
cream together:
2 cups of sugar
5 egg yolks
1 stick oleo
1/2 cup crisco or 2 sticks oleo
2 cups of flour
1 tsp soda
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups of coconut
1/2 cup pecans
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp vanilla flavoring

fold in the 5 beaten egg whites into mixture
Bake @ 350 in 3 ( 9inch) cake pans greased and floured lightly for 30-35 minutes

8 oz pkg of cream cheese, 1 stick oleo, cream together, add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp butter flavoring.
Frost cake, sprinkle coconut on top, sides and between layer of cake
