2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
3 1/2 cup raw apples chopped fine
1 cup raisins
1 cup nuts

Beat sugar and shortening well, add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition
combine dry ingredients, add to sugar mixture, beat well. add raisins apples and nuts, beat well with mixer
Bake in 9x13 inch pan that has been greased and floured.
Bake @ 350 for 70 minutes, start testing for doneness @ 45 minutes
Frost with powdered sugar frosting( thin)
