1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1 onion, chopped
1 can crushed Italian tomatoes
1 can Italian seasoned tomato sauce
1 can corn, DO NOT drain
1 can ranch style beans
1 can tamales, cut up
Curry powder
Olives, optional
Cheese, optional
Tortilla chips, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In large Dutch oven, brown meat with onion. Season with pepper and curry powder while browning. Drain. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, corn, and beans. Simmer 1/2 to 1 hour until thickened. Add tamales. Simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish with olives and cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.

I sometimes use a large can of ranch style beans and two cans of tamales. This also makes a great dip.
