1 cup sugar
1/3 cup white syrup
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp vanilla
Popped popcorn

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 5 ingredients together. Stir all the time until sugar is dissolved. DO NOT STIR AFTER SUGAR IS DISSOLVED.

When a small amount of syrup is put in a dish of cold water and it turns brittle and breaks, remove from fire and add vanilla. Pour over popcorn and squeeze into balls. BUTTER YOUR HANDS BEFORE SQUEEZING.
