1 cup pecans
1 cup slivered almonds
8 cups popped corn
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp (or little more) vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 300º

Place popped corn in large roasting pan or bowl and butter. Keep warm in oven.

Combine sugar, butter and syrup, cook at stir until mixture boils. Use thermometer, reduce heat to medium and continue at moderate rate, stirring frequently until 280º.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Carefully pour over corn and stir to coat. Spread on buttered foil till cool, then break into pieces.
