1 loaf unsliced French Bread (cut into 1" slices)
3 cups milk
1/2 tsp. salt
10 large eggs
1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 stick butter
6 medium firm bananas, sliced into 1/4" slices
1 8 oz. bottle maple syrup
Chopped walnuts

Directions:
1. Grease 9x13-inch dish. Arrange bread slices in dish, overlapping slightly.
2. In medium bowl, beat, milk, salt, eggs and 1/4 cup sugar. Pour mixture over bread.
3. Mix cinnamon and 1 tbsp. sugar and sprinkle on top of bread.
4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
5. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, melt butter and syrup. Add bananas. Pour over bread pudding. Sprinkle with walnuts.
7. Let stand 30 minutes. Serve same day.
