Crust:

1/2 c. oleo
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. flour



Filling:

1/2 c. oleo
1/3 c. dark corn syrup (karo)
1 c. powered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans.

Directions:
Directions:
Crust for shells: Mix all ingredients together. Make dough into the size of a walnut. Press into greased small tins. Don’t make dough too thin. Bake at 400º for 8-10 minutes or until slightly brown.
Filling: Bring oleo, corn syrup, and powered sugar to a boil. Stir in pecans.
Spoon into shells (about 3/4 full) . Bake at 350º for 5 minutes. Not any longer.
Makes 3 dozen. Recipe can be doubled.
