4 slices Bacon, finely cut
1/4 c. Onion, minced
2 cans Clams, minced
2 c. Potatoes, diced
1/2 c. Water
2 c. Milk
1 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon slowly in a kettle. Pour off 1/2 the bacon fat. Add onions to remaining fat and cook, but do not brown. Add liquid from the clams, potatoes and 1/2 c. water. Cook until the potatoes are tender, 10 minutes. Add the clams, milk, salt and pepper. Heat slowly to boiling (be careful not to burn the milk). Serve immediately.
