Combine ingredients....Cook to hard crack. Cool and stretch

This is an old-time Pioneer Recipe. The pioners used to have Taffy Pulling Parties. I can remember LaWana pulling the Taffing until it was perfectly white and full of big holes....then she said it was perfect. Then you lay down the pulled taffy that is in a long rope, and hit it with a knife. If it is good and hard, it will break into pieces.
