1 baked pie shell
1/2 c. sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1/2 t. salt
2 c. milk
1 eggs slightly beaten
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, cornstarch and milk in saucepan, stir until smooth. Cook over low heat, stir constantly until mixture is thick and bubbling. Stir the egg, cook thoroughly (mixture will be very thick). Beat until smooth. Whip cream and fold in, add vanilla. Place in pie crust cut 1 1/2 c. strawberries and place on the cream filling. Cover with glaze and chill for about 1 hour.

Glaze;
Crush 1/4 c. strawberries
add 1/2 c. water and cook 2 minutes, strain and combine 1/4 c. sugar and 1 T. corn starch, cook stirring constantly until thick. Cool before glazing the pie.
