Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 large box (non-instant) vanilla pudding
1 large box orange jello
1 - 12 oz carton of cool whip
2 or 3 sliced bananas (soak in pineapple juice before using)
1 - 15 oz can of drained mandarin oranges
1 - 15 oz can of drained pineapple tidbits
1/2 jar of maraschino cherries, halved
optional: nuts, mini marshmallows

Directions:
Directions:
Make the pudding, substituting water for milk, according to package directions. I use the microwave directions.

Add the jello powder at the end of the cooking time, stir to dissolve.

Chill this mixture until solidly set.

When set, whip the mixture with an electric mixture to lighten it up a little, fold in the cool whip, then add the fruit. Don't use a mixer when adding the fruit.

Personal Notes:
This is very tasty on a warm summer day and it makes a beautiful salad, too.
