1 lb. lean ground meat
1 lb. cracked wheat (burghal)
1 medium onion, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 c. butter
Ice Water

Stuffing:
1 lb. chili ground meat
2 medium onions, chopped
3/4 c. pine nuts (pignolia)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cracked wheat and squeeze out the water. Add raw meat, onion and seasoning and put through fine blade of grinder, adding ice water as required for smoothness. Set aside while you make the stuffing.

Stuffing: Chop onions, add to meat and seasoning, saute. In a skillet on the side, saute pine nuts with a little butter and add to filling. Cook until brown. Butter 8" x 8" pan, make a layer of kibbee, spread stuffing; add another layer of kibbie, score top layer with knife, pour melted butter on top. Bake at 400ºF for 20-30 minutes
