1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 T. butter
1 pkg. (3oz) softened cream cheese
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Put shredded cheese into the bowl of an electric mixer. Add cream cheese and butter, beat until blended. Add garlic powder and beat until creamy. Cover and chill for 3 hours. Shape into a smooth ball. Sprinkle nuts on wax paper and roll ball pressing lightly. Wrap ball in airtight clean plastic film and refrigerate or freeze, as needed. Allow frozen cheese ball to stand at room temperature, unwrapped for 3 or 4 hours.
