2 Eggs
1 c. Shortening
1 1/2 c. Sugar
2 3/4 c. Flour
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat Eggs, add shortening and sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and mix. Roll dough into walnut size balls. Roll in mixture of 1/2 c. of sugar and 1/2 c. cinnamon.
Bake for 10 minutes in a 400 degree oven.

Ever since I was a little girl, Dad and I baked Christmas cookies. This was ALWAYS the one we HAD to make. These have always been a favorite of mine and I can guarantee they will be yours and all who eat them. Enjoy!
