Directions:
Directions:
1. Add 2 cups of instant rice and water into a medium sided pot.

2. Heat up the rice on high until it starts to boil; then turn down the temperature to medium or medium-low.

3. Keep the rice on the burner until most the water evaporates; be sure to keep an eye on it so the rice doesn't burn to the pot.

4. Empty half a package of frozen peas into a small pot. Add enough water so that there is more water than peas.

5. Boil until the peas float on the water; strain the peas until all the water is gone.

6. Dump both the rice and peas into a medium casserole dish.

7. Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine and mix until the butter or margarine is melted evenly through the dish. Note: if your rice has cooled down, put a lid on the casserole dish and head in a microwave for a minute and half, be careful of steam.

8. Distribute a thin layer of salt on top of the mixture and stir until evenly distributed among the dish; repeat this step two more times.
