16 oz fresh small mushrooms
Italian sausage links or flavored sausage of choice

Preheat oven 450º and place rack on top slot in oven
Wash mushrooms, remove, and chop up mushroom stems
Place mushroom caps facing down on cooking sheet
In small bowl squeeze sausage from casings, blend in chopped mushroom stems and roll into balls small enough to fit into the mushroom caps to look like a muffin top
Place in oven until sausage is browned approx 10-15 minutes
