1 c. oleo
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup, light color
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
6 qts. popcorn, popped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt oleo in 2 quart pan. Stir in sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popped corn, mixing well. Turn into 2 large shallow baking pans. Bake at 250º F. oven 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven, cool completely. Break apart, store in tightly covered containers.
