3 sticks butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and margarine. Mix in dry ingredients; add vanilla. Beat until smooth. Shape dough into rolls and store in refrigerator. Slice into cookies 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle with desired colored sugar. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.
