4-5 T. popcorn kernels, popped
1 bag pretzels (small loops, 5-6 cups)
1 can peanuts or mixed nuts
1 small box (16 oz.) Quaker Oat Squares

2 cups light brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup white Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 t. vanilla

In large container, gently toss together popped popcorn, pretzels, peanuts and the Quaker Oat Squares. Set aside.
In medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter, salt and Karo syrup. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and fold in the baking soda and vanilla. Pour over the dry mixture and toss gently until all pieces are well coated. Spread mixture evenly over several cookie sheets. Bake in a 200 oven for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. After baking, allow to cool and then store in airtight containers. Keeps well. You can also use the syrup mixture for making popcorn balls.
