2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shortening or margarine or butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small package chocolate chips
2 cups rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Mix moist ingredients.
Mix dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients to moist ingredients.
Drop approximately 2 tablespoons of mixture onto the baking sheet for each cookie.
Bake at 350ºF for 12 - 15 minutes.
