4 Quarts water
1 large lemon, sliced
5 pound unpeeled large shrimp
2 cups vegetable oil
1/4 cup hot sauce
1 T minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. seafood seasoning
1 1/2 tsp. dried whole basil
1 1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano
1 1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
1 1/2 tsp. minced fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water and lemon to a boil; add shrimp, and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Drain well; rinse with cold water. Peel and devein shrimp; place in a large bowl.

Combine remaining ingredients, except lettuce; beat with a whisk. Pour over shrimp; toss. Cover and chill 8 hours. Drain shrimp and serve in a lettuce lined bowl.
