Apple Crumb Pie Recipe

Unbaked pie crust

8-9 apples

3/4 c sugar

1/8 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp butter

Crumb Topping

1/2 c butter (room temperature)

1/2 c brown sugar

1 c flour
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Mix together nutmeg, cinnamon and sugar
Peel and thickly slice apples
Sprinkle some of the sugar mixture over the crust
Alternate layers of apples with sugar mixture, ending with the sugar mixture.
Cut butter into bits, dot over top

Topping
Cream together butter and sugar
Cut in flour using hands
Crumble over top of pie
Bake in center of oven for 1 hour until bubbly and brown
