Crust:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups flour

Filling:
4 eggs slightly beaten
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup lemon juice
rind of one lemon--grated

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add salt and flour and mix well. Pat into a 9 x 13-inch greased baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

To make filling, mix all ingredients and pour over hot crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into bars and eat after cool.

The best lemon bars I've ever had. They show up a lot when the family comes over (along with the cream cheese brownies). Again, use butter!
