1 lb. lean ground meat
1 lb. sausage (Spicy is good)
1 lb. Velveeta
2 tsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. Worcestershire (liberal)
Minced garlic to your taste

Party Rye or Pumpernickel

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown ground meat, sausage and chopped garlic in skillet until pink is gone. Add oregano and Worcestershire sauce.
2. Cut up Velveeta, add to ground meat mixture and stir until melted.
3. Put spoonfuls on slices of party rye. Lay the rye on waxed paper lined cookie sheets and freeze.
4. Store in zip lock freezer bags or plastic containers after frozen.
5. Take out of freezer without thawing. Put on cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 350º until bubbly (about 15 minutes). Serve warm.

During some times of the year, I cannot find party rye. I use regular sliced rye bread, toasted and cut into quarters or six 2"x2" pieces. Put on cookie sheet and freeze.

My sister, sister-in-law and I like them with a salad for lunch.
