3 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter or margarine softened
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
3 Tablespoonful. butter or margarine melted
1 1/2 c light or dark corn syrup
11/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
For crust, blend together in a large bowl flour, sugar, butter and salt, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press firmly and evenly into a greased 15 x 10 inch baking pan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Meanwhile in another bowl combine eggs, butter, syrup, vanilla, and sugar. Stir in pecans spread evenly over hot crust. Bake at 350º
for 25 minutes until set. Cool on wire rack.
