5 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
2 packages yeast (dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water)
butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening and add yeast and buttermilk. Mix well. Chill 1 hour. Roll and cut. Set aside to rise 1 hour in warm place. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Brush with melted butter as biscuits start to brown. Continue to bake until brown.
