2 packages chopped broccoli
2-3 cups sharp cheddar cheese
32 oz chicken broth
2 cups half and half
4 cups milk
garlic powder to taste
4-6 tablespoons butter
4-6 tablespoons flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot make a rue with the flour and butter.
Let cook for a few minutes and then slowly add chicken broth and let heat up. Now add the half and half and milk. let this heat up, but do not bring to a boil. now add broccoli and cheese. salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.

this is an estimated recipe. I have never measured ingredients out. Great to use odds and ends of cheese you might have, I love some smoked cheese in this. Also delicious to add chicken too!
